Meet Jason Saunders

Gloucester-born Jason Saunders grew up playing football and baseball and enjoyed tinkering with everything on the family farm — cars, boats, trucks and equipment, included.

Jason served in the U.S. Marine Corps after graduating from Gloucester High School in 1995, following the path of his father and grandfather. He earned his diesel mechanic license in the Marines and after separation, graduated with an Associate of Applied Science in Airframe and Powerplant Technology from Hampton University. Jason went to work in the HVAC industry, learning the business from the ground up.

In 2011, Jason started Comfortable Climate Heating & Air Conditioning, committed to serving residential customers on the Middle Peninsula and Northern Neck with integrity.

“All I accept is quality work and doing a quality job,” says Jason, who manages a staff of 10. “I’m never going to sell you something you don’t need or want.”

Jason also prioritizes giving back to the local community. He has supported multiple fundraisers for Gloucester Public Schools in addition to the volunteer police and fire departments, Special Olympics and Habitat for Humanity Peninsula and Greater Williamsburg. He is a longtime JV and travel softball coach as the father of three daughters, Olivia, Lila and Grace, who grew up playing the game.

Jason and his wife, Jo Anne, are animal lovers who are also parents to a pair of French bulldogs, Dolly and Dexter, and a St. Bernard puppy, Otis. Jason is also an active angler.

It’s important to Jason to see customers 100% satisfied when he or a member of his crew leaves a home after installing, maintaining or fixing a unit or water heater.

“I want people to be happy knowing that the problem they called about is fixed,” he says. “We always educate them on what they can do to keep their unit running longer so they don’t have to see us again too quickly.”

If you want to speak to Jason about your HVAC needs, call him at 804-693-1125. If your call is not answered or returned in 20 minutes, you will receive a $20 coupon to put toward the service you need.
